Programs for Arts and Crafts

The preservation of traditional arts and crafts are an important link to the heritage and history of a people. The Arts and Crafts program will provide classes in the methods and material used in the tradition of the region's arts and crafts, and launch a preservation program to save and restore works of art and architecture, which are historically and artistically important.

We visualize the introduction of classes which will encourage new artists to meld contemporary, authentic interpretations and expressions, with traditional methods, thus aiding in the development of emerging artists ready to join the art community.

H20himal2002 recognizes the importance of bringing arts and crafts to the commercial market. Therefore, our arts and crafts programs will include classes in selling and marketing arts and crafts in order to promote small businesses and local artists.
