| H20himal2002 High Elevation Farming Program emphasis
will be on providing the research and development necessary to address
this challenging area of importance. Collaborating efforts between
mountain communities, H20himal2002 will create and expand regionally
based and integrated food systems which will be locally owned and
operated.
The Animal Husbandry Project is underway, providing in-the-field
seminars and hands-on assistance to the Himalayan farmers. we look
forward to the expansion of this and related programs for mountain
communities. |
